The Trace

I know many of us see openers that we don't know, go to google, and type in their name.  When you type in The Trace, you get nothing to do with the band.  I wanted to give you guys some info, cause after yesterday, I really love them!  They're awesome!

At the concert, talk to them.  They love talking with the people outside.  Also, their EP is $5 for 4 songs.  They are such a small band, but so sweet and genuine!  The money will definitely help them, cause as they said to us, while eating ramen noodles, "There's a reason Fueled by Ramen is called that" (even though it isn't their label, they were talking about not making a lot of money).  And honestly, bring a lunch to school instead of buying lunch, and your EP will be paid for.

I said this in my last post, but even if their music sucked, I would have bought their EP, cause they were really sweet guys, and totally not douchebags.

They were by far the best opener and I honestly can't wait for them to come back soon, really soon!

How I found Honor Society...

I don't know when exactly I found out about Honor Society, but I'm going to assume that it was in 2008.  I remember thinking that I wanted them to open for the Jonas Brothers on their Burnin' Up Tour (yes, I know, I have moved on from this faze).

I finally got to see them for the first time on August 29, 2009, at the Jonas Brothers World Tour.  I was probably one of three people dancing to their songs from my section, which made them notice me.  I left their set two songs early so that I could go get in line for their meet and greet (I won after entering once a day for about two months).  We met, talked, laughed, and I got a picture (which I won't put up here for respect of the other girl in the picture).

November 17, 2009, they were finally in Montreal for their first headlining show.  Of course, I went.  It was when I knew that they were officially my new favorite band.  Goodbye Jonas Brothers.

May 1, 2010.  The best concert to date.  I met them and got soundcheck.  I also met some amazing friends.

Honor Society and me

So now, with this new tour, I will be going to the Montreal show, December 2, 2011.  It's been over three years since the first time I was lucky enough to see and meet them.  It is amazing how every time they remember me, and are seriously the sweetest guys out there.

To anyone who doesn't know their music, it's $20.  It's cheap, and a great show.  Try it, if you don't like it, at least you went out and did something.  If you do like it, which you will, you have an amazing band and awesome new friends.

Honor Society

Honor Society Consists of four members; Jason Rosen (keyboard, guitar, and background vocals), Alexander Noyes (drums), Andrew Lee (bass) and Michael Bruno (lead vocals and guitar), respectively.

Michael and Jason were high school friends who had their share of bands.  They met Andrew and added him as bass to their band, with their ex-drummer Kevin.  Kevin left, and Alexander, who quit his job as a drummer for the backup band for the Jonas brothers, joined the band, of the name Airbourne.

In 2006, the same year the band became Honor Society, they released their first E.P "The Green Light EP."  In 2008. they released their second EP "A Tale of Risky Business."

In 2009, they were signed to Jonas Records, a sub-category of Hollywood Records, and on September 15, 2009, they released their first CD "Fashioonably Late."

October 25, 2011, Honor Society released their third EP titled "A Tale of Risky Business: Part II."
